Harman Red 125 Film

HARMAN RED 125 is a creative colour film designed to push everyday scenes into bold, cinematic territory. Using a redscale approach, this film produces striking images dominated by reds, oranges and warm yellow tones, turning ordinary moments into dramatic, otherworldly visuals.

Built on the HARMAN Phoenix emulsion, RED 125 is shot through the reverse side of the film, exposing the red sensitive layer first. This technique creates its signature colour palette, with results that shift depending on light, exposure and subject matter. The clear base and strong red sensitivity allow for expressive contrast and atmosphere across a wide range of conditions.

Rated at ISO 125, this medium speed film is flexible and forgiving. Thanks to its DX coded cassette and edge markings, it is easy to use in automatic cameras while still offering creative freedom. Although the box speed is ISO 125, the film performs well across an exposure range of EI 50 to 400.

The look of the final image varies beautifully with exposure choices. Underexposing produces deeper reds, heavier shadows and more pronounced grain. Shooting at box speed gives consistent orange tones with softer contrast. Overexposing results in finer grain, brighter highlights and more varied colour shifts.

HARMAN RED 125 is processed using standard C41 chemistry, making it easy to develop alongside regular colour negative films.
