Harman Phoenix II 200 35mm Colour Film

Harman Phoenix II 200 marks the next step in Harman’s colour film journey. This second generation release builds on the spirit of the original Phoenix while introducing a completely reworked formula that delivers more consistency, improved detail and a refined analogue look.

Every layer of Phoenix II has been redesigned from the ground up. New dyes, updated couplers and an experimental layer structure come together to create a film that still feels expressive and film forward, but with better control across contrast, grain and sharpness. Shadows and highlights hold together more reliably, giving you greater flexibility when shooting, while still rewarding careful exposure.

Rated at ISO 200 and DX coded for easy use in automatic cameras, Phoenix II performs best when shot between ISO 100 and 200. This makes it an exciting option for photographers who enjoy experimentation and creative interpretation.

Phoenix II is processed using standard C41 chemistry, but adventurous shooters may also choose to explore alternative development methods such as E6 or ECN 2 to push the look even further.

This film represents more than just an update. It reflects the feedback, curiosity and support of the global film community. Phoenix began as a limited edition experiment and continues to evolve as Harman develops its colour film expertise entirely in house at their Mobberley UK factory.

Phoenix II remains an experimental film at heart. It is not about perfection, but about exploration, learning and embracing the unique character that comes from analogue processes. Approach it with an open mind, enjoy its differences and let the journey continue.
