ECN film is motion picture film stock originally designed for cinema cameras. It’s loved for its soft, cinematic tones, gentle colour palette and incredible dynamic range that gives your images that true movie-like feel. Unlike standard C41 film, ECN has a remjet layer - a thin black carbon backing that must be carefully removed before the film can be developed.

Your film will be express shipped every Monday morning to Mr Negative, where it will go through a specialised ECN-2 process. This includes the safe and thorough removal of the remjet layer followed by chemical development that preserves the film’s distinctive cinematic look. We handle all ordering, shipping and tracking so all you need to do is drop it off.

Your high quality scans will be delivered straight to your inbox within 10 to 14 days, ready to download, share or print.
